The 3rd annual Trunk or Treat and 1st year haunted trail were a huge success.

The Recreation Committee would like to thank everyone who joined the Trunk or Treat with your Trunk full of Treats and the family's that walked the haunted trail and stopped at each trunk for treats.  Next year they would love to have more trunks full of treats, anyone can come join in the fun.  Nobody was able to get an accurate count of children that walked the trail and received treats but it was estimated to be over 100 kids.  The Recreation Committee is hoping this annual event keeps getting bigger every year.  They ran out of hotdogs and cookies, so that means it was a HUGE SUCCESS.  
The Town Rome would like to thank the Recreation Committee for putting on such a great Halloween activity for the residents of Rome and is looking to see what it brings next year.
